WHERE CAN I BOOK A TRIP?
If you are an ESL student, you can book a trip at your school (just ask your activities coordinator). You can also book online through our website.
UNTIL WHEN CAN I BOOK A TRIP?
You can book a trip up until the day before the trip. We suggest, however, to book early as possible because the trip may sell out.
CAN I CHANGE THE DATE OF THE TRIP?
It is possible to change the date of the trip but will be subjected to a transfer fee based on when our office receives notice. For more information, please contact the office.
CAN I CANCEL A TRIP?
Cancellations due to medical illness receive a full refund (less 10%-20%) with an approved medical certificate (official note from a licensed medical practitioner). These cancellations are still subject to a 10% admin fee if made within 48 hours of departure or more, and 20% if canceled within less than 48 hours of departure. Cancellations within 7 days of departure or Missed Departures are subject to the 50/50 rule. 50% refunded in the form of a credit (fully transferrable), and 50% is non-refundable. All cancellations made 7 days or more prior to departure are subject to a 10% admin fee. At an additional cost, you may purchase cancellation insurance when you book your ticket.
Does ISX work with Groups?
Asbolutely! If you've got a group and you'd like to get in touch for a specific request, we'd be happy to cater. We have lots of experience in group travel and have moved nearly half a million through North America.

IS HEALTH INSURANCE INCLUDED?
Health insurance is not included. If you would like to purchase insurance you can get it at additional cost.
WHO CAN TRAVEL ON AN ISX TRIP?
Anyone! Anyone at any age, can join an ISX trip. Just know that most of our passengers are students from all over the world. Overnight trips are a good opportunity to meet many international people and make friends from all over the world during our trips.
HOW DOES ISX TRAVEL?
It depends on how far we are going, usually, destinations within a 2 hour radius will be organized on a yellow school bus. When we travel further, for conveniance, we will use a motor coach.

SHOULD I BRING IDENTIFICATION?
It is always wise when traveling in any foreign country to have your passport with you at all times. Be sure to keep your passport or ID in a safe spot. Many venues in the US require you to be 21 or over to enter their establishment. We will provide plenty of options for all ages. 
WHERE TO MEET THE BUS?
For our NYC departure tours, our bus picks up at 114 W. 40th St. (between Broadway and 6th Avenue) in front of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Times Square. From 40th St/Broadway, look for a Duane Reade and walk on 40th St. toward Bryant Park. If you hit 6th Avenue, you have passed it! The guide will be standing in front of the hotel on the street, next to the restaurant KOBEYAKI.

For our Boston departure tours, our bus picks up on the corner of the Boston Public Library, across from Trinity Church at 640 Boylston St. Please stand on the corner of Boylston and Dartmouth St near the public buses. Please do not look for the bus, but look for the tour guide standing on the corner of the library at Boylston and Dartmouth.

For our Washington D.C departure, our bus picks up at 1606 20th Street, close to the DuPont circle Metro station. Please do not look for the bus, but look for the guide standing on the corner of Q Street and 20th Street in front of Mission DuPont Restaurant.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
On our website you can find a list of suggestions of what to bring on each trip. You will be doing a lot of walking so be sure to wear a pair of comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. Remember to dress for the weather. Check www.theweathernetwork.com for weather conditions in each city you are visiting.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TRIP?
You can check for this information on our monthly flyer or website, but most of our tours include a tour guide and deluxe motor coach transportation. For multi-day trips, quad accommodation is included. For US trips breakfast is usually included.
WHAT IF I MISS THE TRIP?
If you miss the departure, fail to show up at the right place or the right time, there is no refund. Missed Departures are subject to the 50/50 rule. 50% refunded in a credit that can be used on any future trip (fully transferrable), and 50% is non-refundable.
